Necessity to understand languages and culture has risen in accordance with possibility to change work place and to move from country to country. The political situation in the world has become more unstable and therefore amount of people arriving to EU countries has risen dramatically. To improve the person's development and employability in a labour market and integrate in the society, it is necessary for applicants for job and asylum to understand culture of the target country. Without knowing a language and interaction with local people it is impossible.
To assure opportunities for those people our objectives in this project is to create a new student’s book with less language structures and grammar charts, with vocabulary tailored to their needs but in the same time it should be a high quality. The material should be with more visuals and symbols, similar in Estonian, Finnish, German, Latvian and Spanish languages and with a mix of methods for teachers.
Expected number of the participants involved in this project is 200 people: project management and implementation staff from each partner organisation, course participants - language learners and target language teachers from partner organisations.
Methodologies used for carrying out the project are academic research, brainstorming, discussions, piloting courses for language learners and questionnaires for feedback.
Results of our project are material for A1/A2 level language learners in 5 target languages, increased qualification of managing and teaching staff, cultural experience and exchange, research about applicants for job and asylum in participating countries.
To encourage applicants for job and asylum to learn languages we need language material easy to implement and qualified teachers who encourage and help to acquire target language.
We hope that results of our project will help make language learning for adult people coming from different cultural and social backgrounds more attractive, easier and quicker and it allows to continue the project with adding other EU languages to the created matrix.
 
Latvian Coordinator – SIA VALODU MAPE
SIA VALODU MAPE is a language school with 15 years experience in language teaching for youth and adults including unemployed people, migrants and foreigners who have business in Latvia. We provide language training programs for persons in groups and also for individuals. We prepare our programs tailored to meet every client's needs.  We also provide a wide range of translation services for business, non-profit organisation and national and local authorities, as well as to individuals. Our organisation also runs several seasonal activities, such as language camps for kids, language cafes and cultural events
 
Estonian Partner – Pärnumaa Vocational Education Centre
Pärnumaa Vocational Education Centre (PVEC)is a vocational school, situated in a small town  in south-west of Estonia. It is a public institution  with about 150 employees and over 1200 students per school year. School  provides professional competence, knowledge and skills on the basis of a basic and on the basis of a secondary school education. Main areas of study are technical and service based. In close co-operation with employers there  are apprenticeship training programs which can be combined with full –time jobs.
PVEC has a long history  regarding to partaking and being a leading partner in various locally and Internationally coordinated projects. Considering  Erasmus + projects our main priority is to implement cooperation with international partners to encourage more and more student mobilities and teachers exchange. Currently our school is a successful promoter, a coordinator and a partner in various international projects.
 
Croatian Partner – Dante
The Adult Education Institution Dante was founded in 1991 and it offers a variety of regional and international adult education workshops, courses, and programmes for foreign language learning, teacher training, transferable skills training, entrepreneurship and management training, as well as language and vocational courses for migrants.
We have about 300 adult attendees of foreign language learning courses per year and 12 employees. Our Institution is well-established and our educational programmes are designed to respond to the needs of a modern society, contributing to the sustainable development of adult education at the regional, national and European level. In 2011, the Institution was awarded by the Croatian Agency for Mobility and European Projects and the European Commission for raising the level of competence of learning foreign languages.
The Institution closely cooperates with state institutions – the Ministry of Science and Education, the Agency for Vocational Education and Training and Adult Education, and the Croatian Agency for Mobility and European Projects. In addition to national cooperation, Dante has considerable experience in international cooperation and partnerships, carrying out European projects since 2009. Dante has participated in the Lifelong Learning Programme, the Erasmus+ Programme (in 5 KA1 projects and 8 KA2 projects so far) and the European Social Fund (in cooperation with the Educators' Centre Association from Hungary). Dante also became an ordinary member of the European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA) in 2017.
Dante has hosted and organised numerous international meetings, training events, and conferences related to adult education. Two of our conferences were partially funded by the Central European Initiative (CEI) action planned and focused on key issues related to adult education in Croatia: the connection between adult education and the labour market (2016), and the professional identity of adult educators (2017). Moreover, Dante is the organiser of the 2018 ESREA conference of the Between Global and Local: Adult Learning and Communities (BGL-ALC) Research Network on 2030 education goals and adult learning.
 
Spanish Partner – Centro Superior Hostelería Mediterráneo
CSHM (Centro Superior Hostelería Mediterráneo) is a vocational training centre recognized by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Valencian Community. The main activities undertaken in the centre are training and acquisition of skilled students in cooking matters. The centre offers a wide range of educational programs concerning intermediate and higher vocational training in gastronomy such as catering and pastry, as well as its involvement in K1 and K2 projects.
 
Finnish Partner - LEARNING FOR INTEGRATION RY
The mission of Learning for Integration ry is to promote the learning of languages and cultural sensitivity of migrant, immigrant and refugee children and youth in Finland and other Nordic countries in order to facilitate their integration into the new culture and the development of a multicultural society. In addition, our purpose is to support Swedish learning in Finland.
We have a solid background in language teaching and material creation and we would like to use this experience to support our mission to create language awareness through activities such as playgroups for pre-school children, language exchange groups for adults and free language learning material and eLearning possibilities for all ages. We also participate in several Erasmus+ and NordPlus projects regarding immigration and language learning.
 
Austrian Partner – Institut für Interdisziplinäre Bildung
THINK outside the box - THINK interdisciplinary - THINK innovative - THINK IIB – Institut für Interdisziplinäre Bildung
The IIB, Institute for interdisciplinary education, sees itself as a pool of ideas and concept developers in education and training, in order to increase opportunities in the education and labour market. The business areas range from digital school development to international educational and labour market policy projects as well as individual research activities. Our team develops and realizes innovative educational projects in following fields
·        Studying techniques:
The development and implementation of new teaching and learning methods as well as the adaptation of existing methods is particularly important for the IIB in order to teach and learn as effectively and as sustainably as possible.
·        Trainings:
The IIB also offers individually tailor-made trainings and focuses on individual learning program, tailor-made learning program and self-directed learning program.
·        Coaching:
Vocational orientation, vocational guidance, youth employment, proof of competences.
·        Consulting:
The IIB advises clients, which course is useful and beneficial on the base of their competencies, analysed in the coaching.
As an innovation platform, IIB offers its members the opportunity to introduce and implement creative educational ideas.
